Global Transformation and Differentiation

GTRD is the congress series, which changing theme every time, accepting studies all fields of science. Global Transformations and Differentiation Congress aims to bring academics, decision-makers, practitioners, experts, innovators, and students together within this current issue.

Law in Positive and Social Sciences

LAWPOS is an international series of academic congresses which is for to discuss the science of law and examine it's relationships with other branches of science. With this congress, we aimed to open a new horizon to the research world of our country. We believed that scientists working in different fields of positive and social sciences will have the opportunity to think and discuss about the effects of the science of law on their fields.

Innovation and Global Issues in Social Sciences I


The congress, which was organized with the idea of doing different congress was held in the Patara Antique City Assembly Building in Kas, Antalya between 27-29 April 2017. The Congress was held with the support of Rebuplic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya Governorship, Kas District Governorship, Kaş Municipality and Patara Culture and Tourism Association and the contributions at rectorate level of Akdeniz University and Northern Kazakhstan State University.

Within the scope of the congress, around 360 studies were presented in Turkish all dialects, English, Russian and German languages. A mixed exhibition which is including 100 pieces of artworks was organized. About 1000 participants and listeners followed our congress.

These works have been published in 3 books and in an international book published in English by Peter Lang Publishing House. In addition, many articles have been published in peer reviewed journals. Successful studies have been awarded.

Antique city tours were organized under the leadership of archaeologists based on the principles that we took during the congress to keep the values of nature and history alive. In addition, with the intention of making it traditional, TEMA representatives planted a souvenir tree with participants.

Innovation and Global Issues in Social Sciences II


The second congress has been held in the meeting rooms of Club Hotel Sera Hotel in Antalya with the participation of Akdeniz University and Atyrau State University between 19 - 21 October 2017.

Within the scope of the congress, 130 papers accepted have been approved for presentation and publication over 170 papers in Turkish, English, Russian and German languages. During the congress, around 80 artistic works were exhibited.

Perge Antique city tours were organized under the leadership of archaeologists based on the principles that we took during the congress to keep the values of nature and history alive. In addition, with the intention of making it traditional, TEMA representatives planted a souvenir tree with participants.

Innovation and Global Issues in Social Sciences III


Our congress was held between 26-29 April 2018 in Antalya Province, Kaş District, Patara Ancient City Parliament Building, with the financial and moral support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya Governorate, Kaş District Governorate, Kaş Municipality, and Patara Culture and Tourism Association.

Within the scope of the congress, around 350 studies were presented in Turkish all dialects, English, Russian and German languages. A mixed exhibition which is including 120 pieces of artworks was organized. About 1000 participants and listeners followed our congress.

These works have been published in 3 books and in an international book published in English by Peter Lang Publishing House. In addition, many articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Successful studies have been awarded.

Antique city tours were organized with archaeologists based on the decisions of the principle that we have taken during the congress to keep the values of nature and history alive. At the same time, the sunset activity in the Patara Sand Dunes and the march in Patara Forests were held. In addition, with the intention of making it traditional, TEMA representatives planted a third commemorative tree in Patara Excavation House Garden with our participants.

Innovation and Global Issues in Social Sciences IV


The third congress has been held in the meeting rooms of Club Hotel Sera Hotel in Antalya with the participation of Akdeniz University and Atyrau State University between 22- 24 November 2018.

Within the scope of the congress, around 300 studies were presented in Turkish all dialects, English, Russian and German languages. About 1500 participants and listeners followed our congress.

Our international congress titled “Innovation and Global Issues Congress V” was held between 2, 3, 4 May 2019 at JW Marriott Hotel, the most prestigious hotel of Ankara, with the participation of domestic and foreign universities, institutes and institutions.

Within the scope of the congress, around 185 studies were presented in Turkish all dialects, English, Russian and German languages. About 1000 participants and listeners followed our congress.

Global Transformation and Differentiation: International Migration, Urbanization, and Belonging


GTRD was held on 25, 26, 27 April 2019 in the meeting rooms of Akdeniz University Faculty of Letters. As it is known, irregular international migration mobility is one of the most important issues of today's world and the phenomenon of immigration has affected the lives of societies with different dimensions in every period. The Congress has addressed the effects of irregular and forced migration on countries and immigrants, together with the social aspects, problems and solution suggestions it has created, and reached a large number of audiences.

As a themed study, GTRD is a meeting where a small number of qualified and subject-intensive studies are accepted. Within the scope of the congress, around 100 papers were presented in Turkish, English and Russian languages, and around 3000 participants and listeners followed our congress.

These studies have been published in the congress book. Some studies were directed to journals in line with the demands. However, there are books prepared in English in an international collaboration with Peter Lang Publishing House.

Global Transformation and Differentiations II: Digitalization and the Future of Digital Society


Global Transformation and Differentiation Congress II was held under the title of "Digitalization and the Future of Digital Society" on March 12-14, 2020 in Antalya, hosted by Akdeniz University.

Does our increasingly digitalized life go beyond fingerprint, face detection and voice command technologies and go to an endless field? What are the limits of technological developments? Are we going into the realm of freedom or captivity, or people are real products of the virtual world? Moreover, the question of whether the future of humanity as a transition and change or inevitability is seeking answers to it. Based on this content, the following topics are expected to be discussed by the participants.

As a themed study, GTRD is a meeting where a small number of qualified and subject-intensive studies are accepted. Within the scope of the congress, around 100 papers were presented in Turkish and English languages, and around 3000 participants and listeners followed our congress.

Global Transformation and Differentiation III: Social Transition, Stability and Sensitivity


Global Transformation and Differentiation Congress III was held under the title of "Social Transition, Stability and Sensitivity" on April 09-10, 2021.

The world we live in is being reshaped around different social structures and systems, and our individual and social relationship forms are diversifying. Transformations between traditional and modern produce transition, stagnation, and sensitivities, and the construction of the society are determined by multiple actors in time and place dimensions. In the context of the relationship between the actor and the structure, social norms, values, and institutional structures suffer or seek meaninglessness. In this sense, the analysis of the anomic events and phenomena that occur in the social functioning and the awareness processes stand before us as an important requirement in understanding today's social structures.

As a themed study, GTRD is a meeting where a small number of qualified and subject-intensive studies are accepted. Within the scope of the congress, papers were presented in Turkish and English languages, and around 3000 participants and listeners followed our congress over social media accounts.
